Qworkery | Skipton’s first co-working space!
Situated in a stylishly refurbished building on Otley Street in Skipton, Qworkery offers hotdesking, dedicated desks and a gang of friendly co-workers (Qworkers!). With free tea and coffee on tap, it’s definitely worth leaving home for.
Otley Street is a quirky, cobbled street with an eclectic mix of independent cafes, bakeries and coffee shops and is just a stone’s throw from Skipton’s award-winning High Street.
Skipton may not be a hectic metropolis, but it’s bustling with interesting people in search of a strong community, rural beauty, good ales and a better work-life balance.
As well as the busy town centre, a five minute stroll will take you behind Skipton Castle and into the tranquility of Skipton’s ancient woodland…
Qworkery's Story
Co-founders Anita (freelance translator, above left) and Katie (children’s author, above right) met through a shared interest in finding places to work that weren’t their kitchen table. Having shared a small office with other freelancers, they thought the time was ripe to bring a ‘proper’ co-working space to this vibrant market town. With the support of Great Place: Lakes and Dales and the discovery of the perfect, quirky premises, Qworkery was born!
